Billion Dollar Babes for City Chic
November 20th 2008 02:46
Designers for chain stores aren't really a new concept in the fashion world. But finally, there's a designer label designing clothing for the plus sized woman. Billion Dollar Babes, a reasonably 'high end' label has designed five dresses for City Chic. I haven't seen them myself, so can't vouch for them, but I rather like the Grecian Style dress. Here's hoping those prices match in quality, as City Chic is renowned for high prices, but dodge quality.
Anyone seen these yet?
ETA: Seen them. Meeeeeeh. I don't mind the Grecian style, but don't feel it's worth the price. It appears to be of the thicker jersey (I should have checked the fabric, but it feels like a thicker jersey), but again - meeeeeh. As for the leopard print? Disappointed! I was expecting tacky fab and I just got ... tacky (trust me, there's a difference. No, really. Why are you looking at me that way?). I wish I could sew.
