It's officially autumn tomorrow, but unfortunately, here, it never feels like it is heading into winter until early May, if that. Freakin' sub-tropics.
So, here is the last of my spring/summer reviewing. On the last, official day of summer. Luckily, these trends carry well into winter.
Coral! Draping! I'm not going to focus a great deal on draping, as it really is a big winter trend (almost constantly), but coral is one of my favourite colours and a colour that is worn in both summer and winter. I love coral in lighter shades (umm ... so, really, peach) in maxi dresses for summer, and coral in darker colours paired with black for winter. Luckily, places like Myer - in particular, the Monroe brand with their maxi dresses and t-shirt dresses have both covered.
And again, if you're not a fan of coral in clothing, but still want to wear it somewhere? Accessories and makeup are great. My favourite coral lipstick is MAC Vegas Volt, but Revlon and Australis also do great, cheaper coral lipsticks.
