Florals and Sydney
December 13th 2009 05:48
I had a great time in Sydney! It was much cooler than Brisbane (so much so I had to buy a cardigan for the time I was down there) and the shopping was heaps better, sorry to say.
I didn't buy a great deal, but I did end up buying a dress (pale pink with grey roses, sort of prom-like) and shoes (camel coloured ballets). My friend bought two pairs of leggings and awesome awesome shoes -- green suede flats, with a wrap around sort of ankle. Almost like a cross between ballets and booties.
I have noticed so many florals in store at the moment. Which is kinda duuuuuuur, seeing as it is summer and summer is the time for florals. Lots of brights around, even in togs.
Faves, are, as usual, in Myer -- in particular, Basque Woman and Estelle. What I love about Basque Woman is that they have the same clothing they have in the regular sizes, just plus sized. And Estelle is just fun and youthful. I wish they were around when I was younger.
City Chic has some cute maxis and shorter, flirtier florals. I love the Miami floral dress in particular.
Target have a million (ok, slight exaggeration) floral dresses, mostly in maxis.
Lastly, online, Evans has the really cute Rose Print Tea Dress, Sara at Ezibuy has an adorable maxi and Saks Fifth Avenue has this floral jersey dress:
