Kmart: the winter review
May 19th 2007 05:08
Well, Kmart was a teeny bit better than Target, but not by much. At least they had some clothes in their plus sized section. Once again, as for the summer clothing, the maternity section had far more interesting clothing than the plus sized section. I am so disappointed in the big department stores this season.
A couple of cute cardigans, but in the usual black, white, brown and grey. Not a whole lot of colour to be seen. Some jeans, but with that awful elastic waist which is so ugly. Same for the pants. Not even any tunicy tops to be seen for god's sake! Not even in the 'regular' up to size 18 section. What the hell is going on?
Lordy, I'm so annoyed. Shapeless business shirts? Ugly t-shirts? Those stretchy twist tie tops? They had them all, and - to use an overwrought cliche turn of phrase, I think I threw up a little in my mouth.
I don't even want to talk anymore about it, for fear of turning green and ending up looking like the incredible She-Hulk. Here's hoping Myer, though more expensive, will at least have some nice, and on-trend in their plus sized section. Please?
