No More Mumus - May 2008

Masculine style dressing : the experiment

I thought, seeing as I was discussing masculine style dressing last week, I'd give it a turn myself this week. Now, this outfit is mainly for a costume party (you should see my moustache!), but I think it can also be an effective regular outfit as well. Maybe to make it look a little less business like I could have jeans, or add a necklace or something. Or a different coloured shirt.

I like the way you wore it, but I don't think many people could do it. I'd use a waistcoat (like the ones from Proenza Schouler's previous collection - s/s 08? a/w 07/08??) rather than a suit jacket. Waistcoats are cuter and easier.

That's a good idea! I am looking for a waist coat, haven't had much luck yet. It was rather cold that night though, so I was glad for the jacket.
