Stripes

Stripes are everywhere for summer. That fresh nautical look is such a staple that they'll never go out of fashion. A big style for this summer is the breton stripe. Places like Dorothy Perkins and ASOS (& ASOS Curve) have the market cornered on stripes, mostly with a white background.
In store, Myer brands and Big W have some great striped shirts. Big W has one that I am totally buying my younger sister. It will look so cute with shorts now, and jeans later on.
I really wouldn't mind a striped skirt, or even a striped dress. I've never believed the 'rule' that fat girls can't wear horizontal stripes (especially on the bottom!). I've seen so many people rocking the look, that I'm just going to ignore the 'rule' and try it myself.
I love stripes in the non-traditional colour schemes as well.
Fave skirts and dresses come from Etsy, of course.
