What I Love About Myself

The lovely Lilli over at Frocks and Frou Frou recently did a post on what she loves about herself and I thought: "What a good idea!" Too often, we're rather negative about ourselves, especially about our bodies. Our fat bodies. We focus hatefully on the rolls, the cellulite, the lumps and bumps. Well, I'm really going to try not to do that to myself anymore. I'll 'admit' that I have rolls and cellulite (well dur, they're right there) and will learn to love them. I will take a compliment instead of deflecting one. I will focus on the good my body can do, rather than the bad I perceive it can't do. So, here is what I love about myself and my body:
- I have nice skin;
- My lips are naturally full and tend to look awesome in bright colours AND light colours;
- I like the colour of my eyes;
- I have shiny hair;
- I have pretty decent fashion sense;
- I like my hips and my bum;
- And my calves;
- I'm nice;
- I'm a loyal friend;
- I'm sometimes witty.
What do you like about yourself?
